Members can support the club financially through a number of fundraising schemes.
Lottery Bonus Ball Competition
This internal competition runs for 25 weeks from early April. You can purchase one or more numbers for £1 per week at any time for a pro rata payment covering the remaining weeks of the competition. The person holding the winning number as drawn in the National Lotto on Saturday evening receives at least £30, more if there is a rollover or we hit one of 2 targets for numbers sold.
Harrogate Local Lotto
This is a lottery organised by Harrogate Borough Council to make funds available to good causes. Your choice of one or more 6-digit numbers can be purchased online for a set period of time (1, 3 6 or 12 months) by creating a direct debit or by debit card at £1 per number. 50% of this amount comes to the club as long as you nominate us as your good cause, an additional 10% going to general good causes. The draw is made on a Saturday evening and winners are notified. You can win prizes of £25,000, £2,000, £250, £25 or 3 free tickets for the following week’s draw. Easy Fundraising

Howden Insurance (formerly A Plan)
We have partnered with the local branch of the national insurance broker, Howden Insurance who will contribute £10 for any quotation requested and a total of £30 to club funds for any qualifying policy taken out with them. When you are next due to take out or renew an insurance policy (e.g. motor or home/contents) why don’t you give them a try? But don’t forget to mention Low Harrogate Bowling Club!
